I was surprised to have a Hurricane heading our way this past Monday. Harlem didn't get it quite as bad as other parts of New York. We thankfully still have power. All the subways are closed and filled with water leaving most of us New Yorkers footing it or using the good old taxi. Last night was a pasta scary movie stay away from windows kind of night. As we woke up today everyone is outside ( who isn't evacuated ) exploring and seeing the damage. Here are a few photos of last night and this morning around Harlem aka ghost city. I haven't gone downtown just yet .... Buses are stopped for miles and the east side freeway is empty... It's seriously eery.
